Ethan Emery - Director of Angling University

A Colorado Division of Wildlife Master Angler, Freelance Fly Fishing Writer and Pro-Staff Guide over the years, there has been a reoccurring theme in response to Ethan’s style of guiding. Clients consistently walk away having had a wonderful time on the water, and are pleased to have spent time with such a quality young man and guide. In short, regardless of what your skill level may be, there is always something to gain from a day on the water with Ethan.

Ethan is a Colorado native, but his passion for fly fishing took him to Utah, where he guided on the Green River. His experience there lead to him being published in Fly Fisherman Magazine (click for link). Being a patient teacher and coach comes natural to Ethan, and whether you find him in the classroom or on the river, he will be doing his best to help people succeed.

Ethan is a regular in regional casting competitions and placed 4th in the ‘05 International Sportsman’s Expo “Best of the West” competition and 4th at the American Casting Association competition.
